Inversion Mask

Infernal fire of the ages
Mutation in its final stage
Savage woods surrounding
Untamed the forest unknown

Heretic benighted
A seige at night
Gold breathes beneath the moon
Rotten ore from the past

Languish in the bane
Of perpetual agony
Descend the endless crag
To caress the viper

Music For Devil Worship

Okay, some back story: In May of this year I moved out of my apartment to a warehouse/studio space in West Midtown called Two High Studios. I did this with the sole intention of recording an album with my amps at full volume (how they sound best). I ate canned or dry food out of a cooler, showered at the gym and pissed in a filthy "communal" bathroom that rarely had toilet paper. I wasn't the only person living there at the time, but I am proud to say that when I left I had something to show for it. A fine example of raw one man black metal, "Music For Devil Worship" is the first Thoth Mammatus album. Inspired by the works of Aleister Crowely, Anton Lavey and a recent near death experience, this music is quintessentially infernal.

Sinister Green

Warpaint running down my cheek
Cries of agony
Days turn to weeks
Hands cold
Lips numb
World ruin
Life crime
No respite
Permanent frown
Deviant bribe
Crown of thorns
Passed to another
Sinister green
Cleric smiles

Strife Serpent

The horroscopic disconvergence
Cycling a thimble about
An epicenter

Crusted catalyst controlling twilight
In sacrifice to the dawn
Is the night

Cold thoughts in the murk
Cobweb clusters impediment
Skull shards

Loss to the antler of dispellia
Cursed honor
False holocaust

Rearing its head to strike
Is the serpent

Ritualistic purity
Decline of majesty
True death by the sickle
Of the unjust

The irreality of satan's presence
All father is gone

Warm incense fills
